We’ve been working with a number of schools in Garforth to support them with achieving Eco-Schools status.
We’ve visited classes and assemblies to talk to our young people about some of the things they and their families can do to reduce their energy bills or cut down on food waste. We’ve also supported school food growing areas with Incredible Edible.
Children have completed litter picks around their school grounds and in Barley Hill Park and have run a number of initiatives throughout their own schools through their Eco-Councils.
