We live in a throw away culture. When something breaks, we tend to throw it away and buy new. Electronics are a particular problem – globally, we generate over 60 million tonnes of e-waste every year.
Repair Café changes that. We want to rekindle the lost arts of “make do and mend” by running sessions where you can bring along a broken item and have a volunteer fix it whilst you learn alongside them.
